William "Bill" J. Gouin, 66, of Concord/Manchester, NH, passed away on January 24, 2026, after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born September 6, 1959, one of eight children. Bill is predeceased by his parents, Walter and Rose Gouin, a son, William D. Gouin, a brother, Walter Gouin Jr. and a sister, Kelly Ann Gouin, all of Manchester.

He leaves behind two grandchildren, Tristian Gouin of Hooksett and A. J. Gouin of South Carolina, two sisters, Joanne Hopkins and her husband Mark, Patricia Hughes and her husband Harold of Manchester. Three brothers, Richard Gouin and his wife Gilda of Portsmouth, Paul Gouin and his wife Johanna of Auburn, and John Gouin and his wife Linda of Pembroke NH, and a step-son, Ian Cote of Hooksett NH along with several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Bill attended schools in Manchester and began his career as a landscaper for Grounds Management in Manchester, NH, and then as a welder, and later as a warehouse man/forklift driver for Walmart in Raymond, NH. He has been retired for many years.

He enjoyed gathering with friends and family over the years, spending time at and around Massabesic lake creating unforgettable moments with his unique perspective and sense of humor.

Bill had a particular fondness for fly fishing in Pittsburg, NH, and spent his happiest days there with his son, Billy, creating memories that he held close to his heart. He enjoyed classic rock music and played the drums for many years in local venues. He loved to play pool and watch football. He had a passion for motorcycles, particularly the Harley Superglide which he was in the process of restoring, acquiring it after the death of his childhood friend. The meticulous care of his bike is legendary among his family, friends and caregivers.

There will be a memorial service in the spring for friends and family. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Bill’s name to the Solinsky Cancer Center at the Elliot or Granite VNA/Hospice House in Concord, NH.
