William 'Bill' Harold Lord of Winchester NH, formerly of Maine passed away on March 22, 2025, in Keene NH following a brief illness. He was born on October 9, 1954, in Strausburg, Austria to Thomas and Beverly Lord. He was the loving partner/spouse of almost 20 years of Dona Rivas of Winchester, NH.
William is survived by Dona along with his daughter Heather Mills, and son Joseph Lord of Florida; His special son Jensen 'Ralph' Bandura of Winchester, NH.; his stepchildren Kyle and Brittany Predki of Oregon, Stephen Bandura of Maine, Rebecca Bandura and his grandchildren Hayden Mills, Jack Predki and Marlo Predki. Bill is also survived by His father Tom Lord and his wife of Auburn, ME, his sister and Brother-in-law Deb and Robert Thomas of Thorndike ME, and his 'special adopted sister' Beth Crockett of Texas, along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Beverly, and his brothers Richard, Daryll 'Tim' , and John. Bill graduated from Lawrence High School and attended Unity College. He worked for many years at MaineOxy. Before his retirement in 2018, William was a leading expert in Fire Suppression systems and service- he worked over the years with Firesafe Inc, Katahdin Fire, and held strong affiliations with various Suppression companies such as AFEX and Amerex. He enjoyed playing darts and was a member of the Central Maine Dart League before moving from Maine. He also enjoyed football and looked forward to his yearly fantasy draft with the guys, He also enjoyed researching family genealogy, fishing, spending time at the family camp on NorthPond in Maine. He was a huge animal lover , especially dogs, and enjoyed sharing his 'wisdom' with 'Ralph' and anyone else who would listen. William Lord will be remembered for his unwavering strong love of family and friends. He was a true gentleman with a kind, gentle, generous soul, who was always there for others any way he could. Rest in peace William. You will be greatly missed and forever hold a special place in our hearts and thoughts.
