William R. Horner, 81, of Washington, NH, died May 4, 2005, at Concord Hospital, Concord, NH. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on February 2, 1924, the son of the late Halsey and Edith (Robinson) Horner and had been a resident of Washington for most of his life. He was a WW II Army Veteran. Mr. Horner was a graduate of the University of Maine and received his Masters Degree at Antioch College in Keene, NH. He worked 27 years for Liberty Mutual and taught at various colleges in New Hampshire. William was active with Washington Congregational Church and was an avid golfer at Angus Lea Golf Course, Hillsboro, NH. Family members include his wife Suzanne (Loeb) Horner of Washington, NH, a son William Horner of Queens, New York, two daughters; Florence Foldenauer of Custer, South Dakota and Pamela Moore of Florida, his predeceased daughter, Jan Horner, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, his sister, Jane Politzer of Berkely, California, many nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend a memorial service for Mr. Horner on May 15th at 2 PM in Washington Congregational Church in Washington, NH.
