William Francis Ladue, 78, of Greenville died on May 1, 2004 at Birchwood Care Center in Fitchburg, MA. Mr. Ladue was born on May 27, 1925 in St. Albans, VT, the son of the late Lawrence and Marjorie (Zweers) Ladue. He was a U S Army 27 year veteran who served in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam Conflict. After he retired from the military in 1971 he worked for Bates Corrugated Box Corporation. He was a member of the VFW Post 6538 in Townsend, MA and also the American Legion Post, in Greenville, NH. Family members include; his wife, Doris (Bombardier) Ladue of 58 years; two sons, William J. Ladue and his wife, Debra of Ashby, MA, Christopher J. Ladue and his wife Lisa, of Hillsborough, NH; one daughter, Gail Daigle and her husband Gary of Gaithersburg, MD; five grandchildren, Korie Morse, Scott, Kristen, and Kim Ladue, and Gary Daigle, Jr.; four great-grandchildren, Ana Marie and Joseph Daigle, Taylor and Lauren Ladue; one brother, Larry Ladue of Tempe, AZ; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Roland Ladue. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of arrangements.
