William "Bill" Lavoie

William (Bill) Lavoie, 66 years of age, passed away on Friday November 11, 2022 at his home in Derry N.H. after a long illness. Bill was born August 12, 1956 in Nashua New Hampshire to the late Normand Lavoie and Ida Lavoie. Bill was the oldest of five children.

Bill married his wife and soul mate, Karen Lavoie, on October 16, 1982 and five wonderful children were born from this union.

Bill worked as a project manager for Aries Building Systems, a modular building company, prior to his passing. He was well respected in the modular building industry and won multiple awards for Project Manager of the year while working for Vanguard Modular. Bill also worked for many years in commercial construction and was most proud of the surgical center he built in Billings Montana, while working as a traveling project manager for Lockard Construction Inc.

Bill loved people and would always stand up for the "little guy", in business and in everyday life, no matter the cost to himself. He was passionate about always doing the right thing. Bill was an "old fisherman" at heart. His best days were when his kids were young telling them to "go find some worms" so they could all go fishing at the brook. Bill was well known for his wonderful sense of humor. He would call his grandchildren daily with his "Papa joke of the day" and was often rewarded with a quick roll of the eyes which always made him laugh. He loved his Facebook time socializing with family and friends and was famous for always commenting with a meme. Bill was a simple man who loved taking drives with his wife; oftentimes not knowing where they would end up, but the trip was always an adventure.

Bill was predeceased by his father Normand R. Lavoie and Niece Lindsey K. Lavoie.

Bill is survived by his wife Karen L. Lavoie, his daughter Megan P. Kyle and her husband Sean Kyle and granddaughters Corinne and Elsie Kyle, his son Justin W. Lavoie and grandson Lincoln Lavoie, his daughter Ashley K. Budreau her husband Thomas Budreau and granddaughter Hazel Budreau, his son Bryan T. Lavoie and his wife Megan Lavoie and grandson Joseph William Lavoie, his daughter Emily K. Finochiaro and her husband Mark Finochiaro and grandson Liam Finochiaro, his mother Ida B. Lavoie and brothers David Lavoie and wife Darlene, Marc Lavoie and wife Maureen, Denis Lavoie and wife Carol and Thomas Lavoie and wife Deborah and many nieces and nephews.
