William Lynch

William F. Lynch of Hampstead, NH died on September 12, 2023 at the age of 66 after an 18-month battle with an aggressive glioblastoma brain tumor.

Bill was born on January 3, 1957 in Boston, the second of four children to William and Barbara (Dugan). Bill grew up in Milton, MA and Braintree, MA, attended Archbishop Williams High School, and graduated from UMass Amherst with a degree in Business Administration. Prior to his diagnosis, he was a longtime and dedicated employee of R-Squared Office Panels & Furniture in Lowell, MA, where he worked as an operations manager.

Bill was deeply devoted to his family, raising three children, two of whom have profound disabilities. He was an avid reader and golfer. He was never shy to crack a joke and kept his wonderful sense of humor until the very end. He faced his terminal diagnosis with faith, grace, and strength, and was an inspiration to those around him. After his diagnosis, Bill made up for lost time and traveled extensively between rounds of chemotherapy, including two trips to his ancestral home of Ireland.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Nancy (White); his children, Eric, Rachel, and Travis; sisters, Kathie (Paul) Nutting and Megan (Richard) Burns; and brother-in-law, Robert Alexander; nieces, Elizabeth, Emily, Katherine, and Mary; and a community of friends and relatives who miss him dearly. He is predeceased by his parents, and sister, Janet Alexander.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, September 23 at 11:00am at Rock Church in Plaistow, NH, where Bill was an active member and part of the men's ministry.
