William Frank McKenzie

William F. McKenzie passed away on June 30, 2023 following a short and sudden illness. He was born on March 11, 1960 in Concord, son of the late Clarence and Ellen (Reed) McKenzie.

He grew up in Salisbury, NH and was educated through the Merrimack Valley School District. He worked odd jobs until finding his calling as a mental health worker at New Hampshire State Hospital, after which he moved on to the court system where he worked for 29 years. He had finally found his nitch in working with people.

William had a love of humming birds, and most of all enjoyed spending time with friends, family, and people in general.

Along with his parents, Clarence and Ellen, he was predeceased by two brothers, Jesse and Guy, and his sister, Cassie.

He is survived by his sister, Binnie (McKenzie) Dufresne and her husband James; daughter, Erin Howe; son, Brian K. McKenzie; as well as several nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held at Cremation Society of NH, 172 King Street in Boscawen on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 1-2pm, followed by a service and time of sharing starting at 2pm. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
