William K. Moffitt

William Moffitt, 75, of Manchester, NH passed away peacefully on Monday, February 17, 2025.

 Bill was born on August 2, 1949, in Plattsburgh, NY, the son of the late Kenneth and Theodora (Sweet) Moffitt. He graduated from St. Mary's Academy in 1967 in Champlain, NY. He also attended New Hampshire College and graduated in 1971 with a business degree.

 Prior to his passing, Bill was retired. He worked as a store manager at the Mega-X gas station. He also owned Convenient Food Mart in Derry, NH with his beloved wife, Evie, in the 1980s. He was in insurance sales upon graduating college.

 Bill loved being with friends and family and telling jokes. He was an avid Boston Bruins fan, and loved to bowl, and play golf.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Evelyn (Carter) Moffitt (2013), parents Kenneth (1994) and Theodora (Sweet) Moffitt (2002), oldest brother John Moffitt (2021), and son-in-law, Mitchel (Mickey) McLaren (1997).

He is survived by two daughters, Lori McLaren of Manchester, Donna Estime and her husband Donald Estime of Derry; grandson, Donovan Estime of Derry; a sister, Ellen (Moffitt) Welch and her husband Patrick Welch of Rouses Point, NY; several brothers and sisters-in­ law; and several nieces and nephews.

A private Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends in the spring or summer of 2025.
