William R. Staples Sr., 85, of Raymond, NH, passed away on August 13, 2026.

He is survived by his wife, Roberta (Pelletier) Staples; children: William Staples Jr., Dottie Maheu (Erik), Grant Staples, Linda Frenzel (Martin), Steven Stapels (Donna), Patricia Brumfield, and Scott Payne (Melissa); thirteen grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his parents, Kenneth Staples and Dorothy (Stewart) Staples; son, William Payne; brother, Kenneth Staples (Anne); and sister, Gail Skillen (Earl); and by two of his grandchildren.

Bill loved to work on his cars, putter around the yard, and go to his family camp in Maine.
