Wilma S. Schenk

Wilma S. Schenk, 84, of Laconia died October 18, 2003 at Lakes Region General Hospital following a brief illness. Mrs. Schenk was born on June 3, 1919 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, the daughter of the late William and Eliza (Doherty) Stevens. She was a proud and loving wife and mother. Family members include; her husband of 60 years, Clayton "Joe" Schenk; three daughters, Mrs. Alan (Nancy) Pyskaty of Carol Stream, IL, Mrs. Marc (Joanne) Antkowiak of Annapolis, MD and Mrs. Ed (Betty) Gill of S. Burlington, VT; six grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one sister, Dorothy Campbell of Spring Lake, MI; four nieces; and four nephews. Mrs. Schenk was predeceased by a brother, Lionel Stevens and by a sister, Virginia Bound. A Memorial Service will be held at the Congregate Center at Taylor Community, 21 Ledges Drive in Laconia on Thursday, October 23rd at 2:00 PM.
