Winfield D. Russell

Winfield D. Russell, 74, of Keene died on May 15, 2004 at Cheshire Medical Center following a brief illness. Mr. Russell was born on August 25, 1929 in Barre, Vermont, the son of the late Robert Edson and Heather Blakely. He worked for many years for the City of Keene as a heavy equipment operator. After his retirement, he worked part time for Sanel Auto Parts as a driver. Mr. Russell enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his family and friends. His family members include; four sons, Robert Russell of Keene, Dale Russell of Swanzey, Danny Russell of Keene, and Michael Russell of Keene; several grandchildren and great-granchildren; two brothers, Alfred Blakely of Barre, VT, and Ronald Edson of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Doris (Clough) Russell who died on September 11, 1992. There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, May 18th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 111 Railroad Street, 3rd Floor, in Keene.
