Winifred Holden

Winifred Ann (Sturtevant) Holden, 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, attended by family.
Wyn was born on November 4, 1927, in New York, daughter of the late Robert and Loretta (Wheat) Sturtevant. She was raised in NY and loved spending time at her grandparent's "summer place".
She and her husband, the late Donald R. Holden, moved to NJ where they raised six children together. After retirement, she moved with her daughter Peggy to NH. Wyn loved "God's country" and enjoyed the changing seasons. She enjoyed travel, reading, and spending time with her friends or at home.
She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Gardner (Neil) of Carlisle PA, her children H. Lee Holden (Shirley) of Hugo MN, Elizabeth Swift (Joseph) of Clover, SC, David Holden (Donna) of Hughesville, MD, Kathryn Bontya of Norwich, CT, Ruth Charlton (Michael) of Elkwood, VA, and Margaret (Peggy) Pylypczuk, of Tilton, NH, 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and interment on March 25, 2017 at 10am, in Lakeview Cemetery, Cinnaminson, NJ.
