Yolande Laprise

Yolande Laprise, 88, of Manchester, passed away on February 8, 2023. She is the beloved wife of Roland M. Laprise with whom she shared over 60 years of marriage.

Yolande was born in Quebec, Canada on January 26, 1935 to Romeo and Rose Eva Rivard.

Yolande was a very loving and caring woman. She had a love of reading and read at every opportunity. Anyone who knew her can attest to her love and devotion especially when it came to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She embraced every opportunity to be with them. She did not need to spend a lot of money or have extravagant toys to keep them entertained. She created adventure, fun, and expanded their imagination with the simplest things. She would do crafts with them that were created from obscure items found around the house or outside. The messier it got, the better it was. Her love of children and being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother is why she was put on this earth. Her absence will be felt by all who knew her and she will be dearly missed. She can now spend time with her sons and granddaughters that have passed too soon and have been waiting to welcome her.

Along with her husband of 67 years, Roland, Yolande is survived by her children, Serge Laprise of Epping and Marc Laprise of Manchester; grandchildren, Deanna Lockwood, Amanda Woods, Troy, Kyle, Ryan, Paige, Dylan, Andrew, and Ambre Laprise; great grandchildren, Axel, Cooper, Isabelle, Colin, and Camden; siblings, Gisele Ouellette, Claude Rivard, Richard Rivard, and Gilles Rivard; and daughters-in-law, Wanda Laprise, Nicole Laprise, Lucie Laprise, and Helen Laprise.

Yolande is preceded in death by her sons, Bruno and Tony Laprise; granddaughters, Sheanna and Tanya Laprise; brothers, Robert and Raymond Laprise, and her parents Romeo and Rose Eva.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, February 12^th from 10am-12pm at The Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A funeral service will follow at 12pm in the funeral home. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
