Yvonne (Maurice) Breed
Bedford- Yvonne J. Breed, 71, of Bedford, died Friday, May 3, 2013, at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, surrounded by her family.
Born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Gertrude (Bergeron) Vachon. Raised and educated in Manchester, Yvonne was a graduate of Central High School.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed by Steward Properties as a clerk. She is a member of the Grace Episcopal Church on Lowell Street.
Devoted to her family, Yvonne took great pride in all of their accomplishments. She often enjoyed attending her nieces dance recitals and watching Dancing with the Stars. Yvonne had a deep passion for arts, crafts, and knitting. She will be dearly remembered for generations to come as she took pleasure in giving her friends and family handmade ceramic Christmas tree ornaments. An avid Boston Red Sox fan, Yvonne also enjoyed watching golf on TV. A loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, she will be deeply missed.
Yvonne is survived by her son, Gary D. Cox and his wife Deborah of Lincoln, NH; brothers, Philippe B. Vachon and his wife Denise of Manchester and Donald B. Vachon and his wife Carol of Manchester; Jeffrey Maurice and his wife Tammy of Vermont, and Gary Maurice and his wife Marie of Georgia; sister, Susie C. Vachon of Manchester; sister-in-law, Suzanne Vachon of Hooksett; four grandchildren, Candace, Samuel, Justin, and Brandon; nieces and nephews, Michele, Kevin, Brian, Joshua, Elizabeth, and Devan; and her closest friend, Muriel Zerus; and extended family and friends. In addition to her mother, Yvonne was predeceased by her step-father, Ronald Vachon, and brother Daniel R Vachon
Arrangements: A Memorial Gathering will be held at The Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, on May 8, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm with a service at 5:00.
