Yvonne H. Girouard

Yvonne H. Girouard, 95, of Genesis Eldercare in Laconia, NH died on May 18, 2002 at her residence after a period of declining health. Mrs. Girouard was born on July 10, 1906 in Fitchburg, MA the daughter of the late Ulric and Emma (Labrie) Moge. She worked for Foster Grant in Leominster, MA for thirty years and retired in the late 1960's. Upon retirement she moved to New Hampshire and considered the Lakes Region her home. Family members include; one brother, Roger Moge of Fitchburg, MA; one niece, Maureen Lemieux of Grafton, MA; and two nephews, Warren Moge of Fitchburg, MA and Daniel Newell of Colchester, VT. She was predeceased by her first husband, Francis C. Cardinal who died in 1947 and by her second husband, Gilbert J. Girouard who died in 1998. She was also predeceased by two sisters, Cecile Murphy and Thelma Newell. Internment will take place at St. Bernard Cemetery in Fitchburg, MA at a later date.
