Zella Francis (Dillon) Miner, 72, of Bennington, NH, passed away on November 26, 2020 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack. She was born on September 16, 1948 in Switzer, West Virginia to Dorsey and Virginia Dillion.
Zella was a single mother of two who worked at Bridgton Community Hospital as a housekeeper when she met Russell Miner. They were married in April of 1976 in New Jersey before they moved to Greenfield, New Hampshire in May of 1977. Later, their third daughter was born in July of 1977 and Zella became a fulltime devoted wife & mother.
Her love of animals was known to many. She enjoyed gardening and camping every summer in Vermont and being with her family & friends. She also had a love of country music and a sweet tooth which led to her love of baking. Zella also loved watching General Hospital during the week.
She is predeceased by husband Russell Miner who passed away in 1999, and her two sisters Joyce Shakelton & Janice Fish
She is survived by her three brothers, Charles Dillon & his wife Joyce, Lester Dillon & his wife Jocelyn, and Haskel Dillon & wife Ellie. Her four daughters Trish Leone and her two daughters Rachel Jadczak and Julie Vance. Daughter Kim Spaulding, her husband David and two sons Colton and Triston, Christine Miner, and her two Children Codie Harnish, and Keith Lowell. Her youngest daughter, Kerry Miner and several nieces and nephews.
No formal services will be held at this time.
A private service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
