Charles Russell Lester

C. Russell Lester, born September 4, 1941- the son of late C. Henry and Ruth A. Lester, passed peacefully at his home on December 27, 2022, after a brief illness at 81 years of age.

He was surrounded by his loved ones in the home he built for his family in Canaan, NH.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley M. Lester of Canaan, NH. Their two sons, C. Robert Lester and wife Karen B. Lester of Sunapee, NH as well as son, David J. Lester, and wife Karen L. Lester of Rolesville, NC.  3 Grandchildren- Dustin T., Hayden J. and wife Rachel M. Lester, and Sydnie A. Lester.  A brother- Neal Lester of Concord, NH, and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no services at this time, but donations can be made in his memory to the Disabled American Veterans or St. Jude’s in lieu of flowers, both of which he held in high regard.
